Tapping Her by Max Monroe

Summary:

Blissful in Bora Bora…

Kline and Georgia Brooks are fresh off their wedding and ready to indulge in the honeymoon of a lifetime.

Luxurious and private, their overwater bungalow in the South Pacific is the perfect backdrop for fun, sun, and enough sexiness to necessitate a dip in the clear water to cool down.

But marriage means more, and Kline and Georgia may have to find a different way to handle the heat.

Nowhere near normal in New York…

Thatcher Kelly loves wild women, and Cassie Phillips is about as wild as they come. Put them together and they are a match made in chaos.

Bound by cat-sitting responsibilities, Cass and Thatch have to find a way to right their mistakes—and wade through the dense cloud of sexual tension that seems to suffocate the room whenever they’re together.

Will they be able to resist?

And more importantly, will Walter be okay?

My Thoughts:

Well, we join this crazy gang again while Georgia and Kline are on their honeymoon and Thatcher and Cassie are still in NYC cat-sitting the evil, Walter.  This can only spell disaster!
This is a small novella that switched back and forth between Bora Bora honeymoon time and NYC hijinks that could only be brought about by two crazy people and one grumpy, runaway cat.  There is a lot of action packed into this short story! Georgia and Kline are trying to relax by the water but between multiple emails from her new boss and the disappearance of her beloved Walter things are a little stressful.
Thatcher and Cassie may have accidentally left the door open aiding Walter in his escape but they are looking high and low for him….all while flirting and driving each other crazy because they are just so much alike! They say that opposites attract but is that always the case?
I have to admit that I am not much of a fan of novellas-I like a little more meat to my stories so the short story doesn’t really work for me.  This was a fun story but definitely more of the sexiness than in the first book, Tapping the Billionaire, which was sexy but also a bit angst-y.  Thatch and Cassie are heading towards something but they both have zero filters so this is more of a funny, pervy couple than Kline & Georgia!
Fun little addition to get us ready for book #2 and to ease us into all the craziness that will accompany Thatcher and Cassie!
3.5/5 stars
