June was again busy (I feel like I say this every month...) but I read seven-almost eight books so I will chalk it up as a win!
June's books:
The Breakdown by B.A. Paris: I kept hearing about this author so I jumped at the chance to review this one! Unfortunately it was just okay for me-see all the details here.
The Changeling by Victor Lavalle: My reading challenge for this month was to step outside the box and read from a different genre than I normally do. Needless to say I read about half of this one and stepped promptly back into my box. Full info here.
The Essential Enneagram by David Daniels: I enjoy a good personality test and informational book so I checked this one out. It was interesting but a bit confusing but I plan on returning to it and trying again. 3/5 stars
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid: I've heard great things about this author so I picked up her latest from my June Book of the Month Club. It was well worth it and I read it in one day! All the thoughts and summary are here.

Your books read and ones upcoming for July are all new to me. The personality test book sounds very interesting to me and I'll have to see if my library has it.
ReplyDeleteSeveral of these books are newly published or about to be published but you should find them in stores or in libraries very soon! I don't like to publish my reviews way ahead of time, get you all excited about a book only to have to wait weeks for it to come out. :)
