Stroked by Meghan Quinn

Summary from Amazon:

Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.

His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.

On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.

I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.

There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.

What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.

My Thoughts:

Ah, Meghan Quinn! This is the third book of hers that I have read and she has done it again!.
Paisley has had her career thrown for a serious loop and now is starting over at the bottom...again.  This means that instead of being a production assistant at a major network she is stuck shoving Tic Tacs in the face of the horrible but popular reality star Bellini Chambers.  It cannot get much worse....
Reese is a swimmer about to embark on his last competition to get him to his final chance at Olympic gold.  Unfortunately he has let himself be talked into a fake relationship with the odious Bellini Chambers by his PR people in order to get his name in the papers to help further his post-Olympic career.  Worst. Decision. Ever.
The first time Reese lays eyes on Paisley he knows she is gorgeous but after working with her he is even more intrigued by her down to earth personality.  How can he convince her that they can have a secret relationship until his contract with Bellini (a.k.a. Satan's Mistress) is over?
Meghan Quinn is so good at giving us characters to love, hate and laugh at or with and Stroked is no different.  Paisley is a great, normal girl that is struggling with life, friends, and family.  Reese is relatable in that he is also anxious and worried about where his career is going.  But Bellini? Oy, she is completely horrid and her ridiculousness is so horrible you can't help but laugh.
This is a sexy love story but it also funny and touching.  When you find the one you just know and you will do anything to help them and to make them happy. Even if that something makes you miserable.  Stroked is about two people finding themselves and each other while making you laugh at the same time.
I am so glad to see that this is the first in a new series because there are some really great secondary characters in this story that I cannot wait to see again.

4/5 stars
